Foxy Lady

Here's a caricature of Hollywood vixen Megan Fox as her namesake.

Last week after winning the Harry Shearer jam over on Facebook's 'Caricaturama Showdown 3000' group, it was my job to choose the next celebrity to be caricatured. Along with Harry, we'd had Picasso and Danny Trejo as topics, so I figured we needed someone prettier and less wrinkly this time around. So I chose actress Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer's Body, Jonah Hex). My interpretation of Megan above is part anthropomorphism and part caricature.

Harry Shearer

A caricature of actor and comedian Harry Shearer, most well known for his role as bassist Derek Smalls in the cult rock mockumentary 'This is Spinal Tap' and his voice work on The Simpsons (Mr. Burns, Smithers and Ned Flanders to name a few). This was done for a weekly challenge over at Caricaturama Showdown 3000. 100% Photoshop.

The King of Interviewers

A quick digital caricature of the vulture-like, Larry King. This was done for the weekly challenge over at Wittygraphy.

Picasso 3000

This is a caricature of Spanish painter and co-founder of Cubism, Pablo Picasso. I did this for a caricature challenge over on the Facebook group, Caricaturama Showdown 3000.

I painted the bulk of this with the default round brushes in Photoshop then I used a few of my custom Photoshop brushes for texture. I love painting and drawing older people, exploring all the lines and crevices. It's a lot of fun.

Back in September 2006 I posted a digital sketch of Radiohead frontman, Thom Yorke using a Wacom Intuos tablet. Now four years later, I've upgraded to a Wacom Cintiq 21UX (an interactive pen display, for those not tech savvy) and below is another digital sketch of Thom Yorke. Done in Photoshop.
