Hey Chris..... these are great man.... always love the way you do them.... One of these days I'll have to get you to do one of my ugly ass mug.... but that aside.... always good man.... PEACE!
J
Some great work again!
Just Drawin on paper here ?
j- Thanks mate.
faboun'e- Pencil on paper, then scanned into Photoshop for extra shading.
These are fantastic. When you do the shading on photoshop do you have the layer on "multiply"?
Great,great, great !
I recognized Rock immediatly.
(actually, I'm trying to draw a good and funny caricature of him fro a few days...)
Chris, these are so good . . . . I really like the one on the bottom, and that Newman is FANTASTIC . . . that should be a t-shirt!
My favourite is... the bird ! Nice work, congratulations Chris. And your Newman is simply... fabulous, yes, I want a t-shirt !
Wonderful caricatures. I love seeing the original photos. The woman is great!
Chris,
Your caricature of me is one of my absolute favorites. I think it, Niall O'Loughlin's, and Paul Moyse's were the best likenesses.
Thanks again, Bud!
quasivoid- Yeah, I have a layer on multiply filled with white and I use the burn tool set to highlights to apply the shading.
rock- Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Thanks everyone!
I read up above that this is scanned pencil with PS shading. Could i purchase the pencil art Chris? Let me know at hamiltoons1@aol.com.
Thanks! I'm the bald, bearded fella at the bottom with the big ear(s).
Scott- Unfortunately I think I threw out the original. You didn't miss much though. I made a fair few digital changes to get your likeness right, so the original pencil was nowhere near as good.
I'll send you a digital high-res version.
inspiring illustrations...really interesting and knwledgable...many thanx
