Grumpy supermodel sketch

Done for one of the monthly jams over at Drawing Board.

Don't know why supermodels always look like they've sucked on a lemon. Maybe she's thinking about all the tax she has to pay on her monumental earnings. I think she was trying to go for sultry in the photo, but she ended up looking like she wanted to punch my lights out.

Anyway, it was a good photo for stylising and elongating. Good hair to draw too.

You know these days the only supermodels I run into seem to be Grumpy.... or imaginary... but that's beside the point.... Chris... I really like this drawing.... the white really makes it pop. Great Job. (as per usual)

Good job. All the supermodels I see recently seem to have their belly button rubbing a blister on their backbone. I wouldn't mind seeing a few models that have a little meat. This walking skeleton craze is just annoying. Anyways, nice image. You did well.

Man, I just LOVE your pencil shading! Your caricatures have affected the way I watch tv...I keep seeing everyone through your warped pencil!

In fact, I was watching the bonus stuff on my Emporor's New Groove DVD and John Goodman was on with his big ol' head...I started thinking "How would Chris draw that melon?" Lo and behold I check your blog and there's Mr. Goodman perfectly rendered as I knew you'd do 'im!

Awesome.

I can tell that's adriana lima, even though there is no likeness.

She's the only one that makes that facial expression. She's the best at "fuck me face" nice caricatures too! are you in the ncn?

Thankyou all for your comments. As always, very much appreciated.

jert- Great caricature work on you site, Jeremy. Thanks for spreading the word.

j- Thanks! Good to see I'm affecting your TV habits.

Dave- Beautiful work on your sites. I'll be checking back often.

Marlo- Thanks. Yeah, her likeness wasn't too important for me on this one. Fuuny though, I interpreted it more as a 'F@#% off!' face.

I'm not a member of the NCN, but it looks like the place to be for a caricaturist. Some huge talents on the site.

Thanks again everyone!
